Brett Knowles

Chairperson

Brett brings over 13 years of experience working in both not-for-profit and corporate business and currently heads up the Learning & Development function for a national recruitment consulting firm.

Early in his career, Brett was a Senior Facilitator for yLead; a youth development organisation that delivered leadership programs across Australia. Here Brett would facilitate conferences and programs for students and young adults, developing their leadership skills and self-confidence and opening their eyes to their true potential. yLead’s programs would impact over 30,000 students a year across the eastern border of Australia.

In his current role as the National Learning & Development Lead, he focuses on driving a strong learning culture throughout the business and developing and delivering a range of learning initiatives aligned with business goals. This experience is supported by over 9 years of experience consulting with various companies and supporting them in talent attraction and retention. Brett has worked with organisations including; Movember, Beyond Blue, Cancer Council, Vision Australia, and Kids Under Cover.

Brett looks forward to bringing his skills to TOL, where he is passionate about helping the business move forward and achieve its short & long terms goals.
